Rocco DeLuca's About To Get Big

Driving in to work just a few minutes ago, I heard Lisa Foxx on STAR 98.7 (Los Angeles-area radio station) divulging that Kiefer Sutherland would be calling in later today to talk about Rocco and his upcoming performance in the STAR Lounge. If you know anything about Rocco and his band "Rocco DeLuca and the Burden":http://www.roccodeluca.com/, then that's no surprise. "His label":http://www.ironworksmusic.com/ signed Rocco, and Kiefer acted as the band's manager for a short time and appears in a documentary on some of the band's travels (which I've yet to see).

You know what this means, don't you? Rocco's starting to get some airplay and the more people hear him, the more will be purchasing his album and requesting his songs be played on the radio. It's all going to start snowballing. I'd like to say I've played a small part in that—I haven't of course, but I have featured his album on my site for quite a while now, mainly because I've been too darn lazy to replace it with any of the dozen albums I've purchased on iTunes since then. But I'm still a big fan of DeLuca and his album continues to get solid play on my computer. As of today, I have by far the most plays of "Rocco on iLike":http://alpha1.ilike.com/artist/Rocco+DeLuca+%26+The+Burden , and I'm the only listed "fan." I'm sure that will change very soon.

If you haven't checked out I Trust You To Kill Me yet, I highly recommend it. Some of the best guitar playing you'll hear apart from John Mayer.
