Moved
At last, Karen and I are in our new place. It feels great to have everything out of boxes again and readily accessible. And the space... we're swimming in it compared to before. 600 sq. ft to 1200... Yeah, it was worth it. The big and little blessings are innumerable: two car garage with door (electric), vast storage space, water pressure in the shower, a closet just for coats!, a fireplace, not having to store the vacuum cleaner in the clothes closet, not having to store the ironing board and iron in the kitchen, room for a dining table (now we need to get one), a front door that isn't hollow... and the list goes on.
It's definitely strange to adapt to a new environment though. I'm looking forward to just vegging one afternoon for a few hours, get the feel of how the apartment "wears." Seeing as how I'm coming down with a cold, I may do that this afternoon. A nap is sounding awfully good.
